At the beach near our condo

Pristine beaches south of Tulum

Seaside ruins of Tulum

Staggering (and hot) city of Chichen Itza

Snorkeling at Laguna Yal-ku -- like a huge tropical aquarium

Delicious food wherever we went

Snorkeling and kayaking in Cenote Manati

View from our balcony --tranquil marina village of yachts and fishing charters

Swam in our hotel pool every day (and have the peeling suntans to prove it)

Adventurous travelers willing to try anything -- even coco frio

Skiing with Dad

Last Saturday Jeff took Gwyneth and Elise up to Canon Mt. in NH.  Elise did ski school in the morning while Jeff and Gwyneth took runs from the top (and this one was really high for NH at 4080 ft!).  After lunch they all skiied together with Elise finishing everyone off at the end of the day - yes she had the most stamina, even when the snow started to fall.  Camille, Celeste and I spent the day cozied up at home.  Maybe I'll learn to ski when Celeste is seven; we can learn together.

Awesome Elise!

Snow Gophers

During Christmas break, Grandpa and Granma Miner came out. We had tons of fun! Here we are, on Holt Hill. We made a snow fort and had a massive snowball fight (tears included).

Over the past week, the snow has accumulated to about 3 feet. Since we had a snow day on Friday, we spent most of the day outside. Dad, Camille, and Elise constructed a snow tunnel, thus creating the name "snow gophers".
(Sorry for the formating, it was all messed up).
